Today marks the 20th anniversary of 911.

On this exact day 20 years ago, the world was stunned by a series of coordinated terrorist attacks by al-Qaeda on the United States that caused the deaths of 2977 people and the collapse of the iconic twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York City. When it happened, it was already evening over here in Malaysia and I only learnt of the news the next morning when my dad who went out for work called my mom (me and my mom at home) to turn on the TV for some sort of a breaking news that appeared throughout almost all channels.

I was only 10 years old back then but I remembered it very clearly. I watched in horror as images and clips of the planes crashing to the towers and their subsequent collapse are played. They are unforgettable. It is still so heart-wrenching to listen to the released audio recordings years later from those people trapped in the hijacked planes or the twin towers before their final moments. Seeing videos zooming in onto the people who stood right by the broken windows for fresh air and to call for help on the upper floors of the twin towers are truly distressing. And some of them jumping out of the building to their deaths. How can people be this evil and do this to them?

Four commercial airliners were hijacked. Two crashed onto the World Trade Center, one crashed onto the Pentagon at Washington DC and another one crashed onto a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania due to the passengers’ attempt to regain control and foil the terrorist’s aim to crash the plane into either White House or US Capitol at Washington DC. It was a day of terror and darkness for America and the 911 attacks remain the deadliest terrorist attack in human history.

20 years have passed on but the memory of that fateful day remains. National September 11 Memorial and Museum is built over the former site of the World Trade Center. Two giant sunken pools with man-made waterfalls sit at the footprint of the former twin towers. The memorial symbolizes the loss of life and the physical void left by the attacks. The waterfalls are intended to mute the sounds of the city, making the site a contemplative sanctuary. The names of 2983 victims (including 6 that were killed in 1993 World Trade Center bombing) are inscribed on bronze parapets at the perimeter of the 2 pools.

A museum is also built nearby as part of the memorial and it houses over 14 000 artifacts, 40 000 images, over 3 500 oral recordings and 500 hours of video. The most striking redevelopment of the Ground Zero is the new One World Trade Center building. Completed in 2014, the tower is the main building of the rebuilt World Trade Center complex and soars to the height of 541 metres (1776 feet high which is a deliberate reference to the year when the United States Declaration of Independence was signed). 1WTC is currently the tallest building in the US.

A moment of silence for those who lost their lives in the 911 attacks. We all shall move forward, much stronger and united against terrorism.

No day shall erase you from the memory of time.’

Cesar Pelli, the architect behind the iconic Petronas Twin Towers, passed away at age 92.

After the demise of I.M. Pei two months ago, another legendary architect passed away this year unfortunately. Cesar Pelli, an Argentine American architect who is famous for designing the Petronas Twin Towers, died yesterday (19th July 2019) at age 92.

Besides than the Petronas Twin Towers which were once the world’s tallest buildings (they are now still the current world’s tallest twin buildings), Cesar Pelli was also the architect of many tall buildings across the world. Hence, he is famously known as the master of skyscrapers and he is one of my favourite architects (obviously since I am obsessed with skyscrapers).

Born in October 12th, 1926 in Argentina, Cesar Pelli moved to the United States in 1952 and received his Master of Science in Architecture degree from University of Illinois in 1954. He then worked for Eero Saarinen and then became the director at Daniel, Mann Johnson and Mendenhall in LA. In 1977, he opened his own firm, Cesar Pelli & Associates.

With a career spanning over 6 decades, he is the architect of over 100 buildings across the globe. Here are some of his famous completed projects;

Pacific Design Center, LA, USA (1975)

World Financial Center, New York City, USA (1981-1987)

Carnegie Hall Tower, New York City, USA (1987-1990)

One Canada Square, London, UK (1987-1991)

Wells Fargo Center, Minneapolis, USA (1988)

Bank of America Corporate Center, North Carolina, USA (1992)

Petronas Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (1998)

Two International Finance Centre, Hong Kong, China (2003)

National Museum of Art, Osaka, Japan (2004)

BOK Center, Oklahoma, USA (2008)

One Park West, Liverpool, England (2008)

Torre de Cristal, Madrid, Spain (2008)

Connecticut Science Center, Connecticut, USA (2009)

The Landmark, Abu Dhabi, UAE (2013)

The Theatre School of DePaul University, Chicago, USA (2015)

The American Institute of Architects named him one of the ten most influential living American architects in 1991 and awarded him the AIA Gold Medal in 1995. In 1997, he received the Aga Khan Award for Architecture. In 2008, the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat presented him with The Lynn S. Beedle Lifetime Achievement Award.

We have lost another notable and inspiring architect this year. Rest in peace, Cesar Pelli, You have been a great inspiration to many young architects and has been a role model to skyscraper fans like me. By the way, I am never tired of looking at the majestic Petronas Twin Towers from day to night. Its design is simply striking and out of the world.

KLCC and its surrounding.

Yesterday I went to Suria KLCC, which is one of the malls I least visited in Kuala Lumpur. Reason? Expensive parking fees and not many good places to dine in the mall as compared to other nearby malls particularly in Bukit Bintang region like Pavilion KL and Berjaya Times Square. Besides than having a dinner, watching a movie, and reading architecture books at Kinokuniya bookstore, I also took the very seldom opportunity I have to walk around Petronas Twin Towers and its surrounding.

Why? That’s my favourite part. I got to observe the many cluster of buildings nearby there and analyse their design. Sounds so professional. Haha…It’s just my interest to look at buildings since architecture has been part of my life for several years already. Have you checked out my previous blog’s post here that Petronas Twin Towers are no doubt one of the world’s most famous landmarks (perhaps in top 20). Many people would love to see it, and I got to see it everyday since it’s only few kilometres away from my home. But we, locals, usually seldom take pictures of things we see in common here.

That’s not the case for me yesterday. I observed quite a wonderful surrounding of the KLCC (Kuala Lumpur City Centre) region with skyscrapers and parks and so I took some photographs, acting like I was one of the tourists. There are quite a number of new buildings constructed surrounding KLCC especially luxurious apartment buildings and some other buildings in construction which made the built environment a bit much denser which is good as a sign of the city developing. Nevertheless, the KLCC park still remains as a vital green ‘heart’ of the capital city. Enjoy the breathtaking pictures I took yesterday;

The one that got my attention the most during the short walk-around I had yesterday is a surprisingly quick construction of a twin residential buildings right besides the Petronas Twin Towers and the K Residence Tower (as shown in last image above). After a further research of the project, I found out that the twin-tower complex is designed by famous foreign architect, Jean Nouvel and both the towers are going to be 49 and 43 storeys high respectively. The two towers are now rising tall to be the new companion of the iconic Petronas Twin Towers. I’m also glad that there are more and more involvement of famous international architects into new projects here in Kuala Lumpur.

Earth Hour 2013 around the world…KL is not doing that well.

Earth Hour 2013 was officially over with quite a remarkable success around the world, with more participating countries, cities, towns and people. It is now proven to be the world’s largest mass voluntary action, started by Sydney in Australia back in 2007. Have you turned off your lights on that particular night of the Earth Hour? Have you told or encourage others to do so? (it would be a good move). How do you go through that night with no or less lights? The feeling is kind off great right, and it gives us opportunity to enjoy the only source of light from the stars and the moon up on the sky. At least, we were part of this global event this year!

Here below are some of the very beautiful images of famous landmarks or places around the world taken before and during Earth Hour 2013. I guess you don’t need me to name each landmarks shown here. The images begin with the founding city of the event, Sydney of course.

Earth-Hour-KLCC-2013-1024x701

Yes, the last picture, that’s the Petronas Twin Towers in my city, Kuala Lumpur. Hmm…the city is actually not doing that well for this event. Only iconic landmarks like twin towers, KL Tower and several popular buildings and shopping malls switched off their lights in the city. Many other buildings still have their lights on as I observed. The impact before and during Earth Hour at that night in the city is only somewhere around 10%. It’s mainly because the city is typically dark every night due to lack of decorative lightings on the buildings in the city (except the twin towers and KL Tower obviously), unlike others like New York, Shanghai or Hong Kong. So, actually, KL celebrates Earth Hour every day.

That night, I was there passing by the twin towers after the Earth Hour. Opps, I didn’t manage to see the towers switching off its lights for the event. When I passed by the area, the twin towers were back to brightly lit state. But I’m very annoyed by the Earth Hour concert held right in front of the towers on the plaza. It’s Earth Hour with objective of saving electricity, and yet, those people were organizing things that waste much more electricity. It’s noisy with a lot of speakers, a lot of spotlights or moving lights were installed for the show, and people (typical Malaysians) threw rubbish everywhere. What the…!!! There’s no more meaning of turning off lights of the twin towers when you guys are crazy wasting up electricity below in event under the name of Earth Hour. Total irony. KL! Be like other cities please…many are not supportive, while some whom are supportive are doing it the wrong way.

On the other hand, next year’s Earth Hour is confirmed to be on 29th March 2014.

Starting to see new skyscrapers dominating Kuala Lumpur’s skyline besides than the iconic Petronas Twin Towers

Now, in Kuala Lumpur city, Petronas Twin Towers are not alone in dominating the city’s impressive skyline with the telecommunication tower called KL Tower. There are several other tall buildings built in the city which easily exceeded 200 metres and are already capable of going high in the sky of KL. Recently, there are few more notable highrise buildings which some have been completed not long ago, some topped out and some still under-construction in the city.

The most notable one, which is the tallest construction project at the moment in the city is the Charigali Headquarters Tower. The building, designed by Cesar Pelli Architects, has 60 floors and reaches 267 m in height. It sat over a plot named Lot C of KLCC right besides the Petronas Twin Towers. Forget about Warisan Merdeka (over 500m) and Four Seasons development (almost 300m). There are no progress on these two projects. So, Charigali Tower which is better known as Petronas Tower 3 had finally topped out, being a taller companion than Maxis Tower (212m) to the Petronas Twin Towers, the world current tallest twin buildings. Too bad, the Charigali Tower is not lighted up yet. (Picture below showing Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Charigali Tower, Petronas Twin Towers, Maxis Tower and K Residence Tower from left to right…the picture is from http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=168729&page=84).

Another ‘dark’ picture of Charigali Tower below which is from http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=168729&page=86)

Another beautiful picture of Charigali Tower at the left side, complementing well to Petronas Twin Towers, together with Maxis Tower at the right,…picture is from http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=168729&page=86)

Charigali Tower is now the most obvious new skyscraper added to the city’s skyline, due to its impressive height and near distance to Petronas Twin Towers. Another tall building steals the limelight; Felda Tower. It is part of a development by TTDI which consists of few highrise buildings. Felda Tower which is a 206m, 50-storeys tall office building had also topped out recently. Another skyscraper under the same development, is called Naza Tower, a 50-storeys building which would be the tallest in the development that would reach over 272 metres. However, Naza Tower is still at its middle phase of construction, and it won’t be capturing the skyline of the city any soon.

(Picture above shows the topped-out Felda Tower, picture is from http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=597663&page=18)

Another construction project that caught my attention and interest is the Ilham Baru Tower. It is designed by Norman Foster, a famous architect who designed also the Troika Tower, the current tallest residential building in Malaysia. This Ilham Baru Tower would reach a height of 298 metres with 62 floors. I like the design of this tower, from its futuristic-looking form and the striking clean facade. This would surely be one of the most beautiful skyscrapers once completed, not only in Malaysia, but also in the world. Both pictures below are from http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=1119813&page=3, with the first showing a computer rendering of Ilham Baru Tower at the right, and the second one showing the current state of the project.

I have also discovered several other construction projects in which the buildings are going to reach well over 200 metres respectively. Well, if everything goes as planned, then after few more years, Kuala Lumpur would be much denser with tall buildings. Previously, I remember that KL is being known as a city that allows its tall buildings to stand out as it is not a very dense city. Now, that statement has to change. For instance, even the Troika Tower which reaches over 204 metres in height hardly stands out among the other buildings because that area is full of other highrises as well, eventhough the others are shorter. A beautiful picture of Kuala Lumpur’s skyline from skyscrapercity form also (I forgot the link) to end the post.

911 Remembered: 10 years anniversary of the world’s tragic event

11/9/2001

A usual morning when people would go out for their works in the bustling city of New York turned out to be a haunting day for them…

United States is attacked deliberately by militant group of Al Qaeda as an act of terrorism on early morning. Four planes were hijacked, with two crashing into Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York, a symbol of US giant economic power that caused both towers to collapse. Another plane crashed into the Pentagon, a symbol of US military and defensive strength. The last plane failed on the plan to crash into either White House or Capitol Building where both are symbols of US government. The overall attacks on the day killed amost 3000 people.

The day is the last day the Twin Towers stood proud over the others as the tallest in the nation. Two supertall skyscrapers were almost completely flattened on the day itself after the collapse, and the site is being nicknamed Ground Zero. It gained extremely wide international attention by media and is considered the most terrifying act of terrorism in history.

Many other nations quickly expressed their condolences to United States, as well as fully against any act of terrorism. I can still remember even my nation, Malaysia’s Petronas Twin Towers had been evacuated for safety measure, at the time the tallest buildings in the world.

12/9/2001

I remembered that time when I was only 10 years old, and I get to know the news a day later, as the time difference between here in Malaysia and US is 12 hours. So, when that attacks happened in the morning at US, it’s already at night in Malaysia. We didn’t notice what’s going on even on the TV, and so we slept, and only discovered such a shocking news the day after. I recalled back that my dad called my mom to turn on the TV (any channels) as the breaking news would be headline of every channels and taking up other programmes. Eventhough I was still kid at the time, I felt shocked by the disastrous tragedy and I have never seen anything like that before.

The visuals of the crashing of the planes on the Twin Towers and the shocking collapse of both the towers in a duration of 102 minutes flooded every channels, newspapers, and even on radio stations…so everyone must be knowing it.

As year by year passes….

United States launched War on Terror on Afghanistan for the justice to what happened on 911. Finally, on this year, early 2011, the leader behind the attack, Osama bin Laden is killed, further weakening his allies.

The site of the crumble and remains of the World Trade Center has been cleared and open for intervention as a memorial to the victims and the tragic event that not only shocked US, but also the world. Daniel Libeskind, a famous architect won the Master Planning of the proposal for the reconstruction of World Trade Center complex over the Ground Zero.

Tribute of Light is introduced on every anniversary of the 911 attacks, which powerful columns of light around the perimeter of the former Twin Towers were displayed. The idea of it is simple yet very meaningful.

There are many conspiracy theories going on even until today, especially on the true identity of the planes that are being hijacked so easily, on the collapse of World Trade Center 7 Building which sparked questioning by engineers and architects, and some others. Whether all these are correct or fake, it is still undeniable that the tragic event has occured and claimed almost 3000 innocent lives.

Even after many years, I am still saddened with what I have watched from YouTube where there are many videos on the attacks, on the collapse of the Twin Towers that cause public outcry, and also on the recording of the calls made by the victims trapped inside the towers before the collapse. It is so sad and emotional after watching all that. Why would Al Qaeda killing on innocent people when Islam also stressed on priceless value of human beings and prohibited killing?!

11/9/2011

It’s the day today, the 10th anniversary of the 911 attacks that becomes part of our unforgettable memories. The construction of pool with waterfall on the perimeter of former site of the Twin Towers which symbolises the tears over the tragedy had been completed. The memorial park will be officially opened today to coincide with the anniversary while the memorial museum would only be opened next year. The construction of the office towers of World Trade Center is progressing and the whole complex would be completed few years later. The highlight is on the main tower,One World Trade Center, nicknamed Freedom Tower which would reach the height of 541 m including spire (1776 feet that represents the year US gained independence). The tower’s height to top of roof would be somewhere between 415 to 417 m for similar height with the destroyed Twin Towers.

Security measures by US would definitely be heightened today to prevent history from repeating. Many special programmes highlighting the 10th anniversary of 911 attacks are scheduled to be aired in many channels especially on news and history-based channels. Eventhough it’s already 10 years, a decade, but the sad memory still lies within many of us. Rest in peace to those who have lost their lives by 911 attacks. Shadow of the dark past remains, but let’s move to a brighter surface of the present where now the site appears to be. Anyway, 911 would be forever remembered.

(Excluding this portion of text, this post actually contains 911 words, coincides with the date the attacks occurred)

Earth Hour 2011 update in Malaysia

Over 7 hours ago, the first city to organize this event, Earth Hour marked the beginning of another cycle of the event for the fifth year in 2011. It’s the major city of Australia, Sydney with famous structures such as the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge had their lights turned off for an hour between 8.30pm to 9.30pm on their local time.

Around 4 hours ago, it’s time for majority of Asian nations like China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore and my country, Malaysia to take part for the global event. In Malaysia, specifically on the capital city, Kuala Lumpur, the famous world tallest twin buildings, the Petronas Twin Towers and KL Tower had their magnificent lighting turned off to support the event. Some other notable buildings in the city do joined the effort too. This is a picture from The Star Online that showed Kuala Lumpur before and during Earth Hour 2011.

As usual, many people around KLCC (Kuala Lumpur City Centre) surrounding the Petronas Twin Towers will scream when the lights turned off of the twin buildings. Maybe it’s a form of excitement to them but I don’t think it is worth a scream. The facade lightings are only turned off…it is no big deal, right? Anyway, it is good to live up the atmosphere too. Maybe the foreigners would like this kind of situation; people screaming in darkness…haha…Petronas Twin Towers and KL Tower have their own different time version, and so they won’t coincide by switching off lights together at the same time. This is a video by gyeoblogspot.com showing the twin towers and the KL Tower turning off lights for Earth Hour 2011.

As soon as I stepped out from finished watching a movie in the cinema in Cheras Leisure Mall, I can’t see anything different in terms of lighting because it’s all over. The time is almost 10pm by that time I stepped out of the cinema. So, I can’t see any of those non-essential lights being turned off. I only realized that no plastic bags are given in purchase at GSC stall for the day and the lighting at the GSC counters is still closed even the time is already 10pm. Anyway, during the time of the Earth Hour, I’m in darkness too (in a cinema’s hall…haha) but the light is very bright from the movie screen ahead…haha

So, everyone has their own way of passing through the Earth Hour. Some would be going out with friends or family. Some would be having usual or unique dinner that time. Some would be dating or wondering around in KL streets or wherever possible. Some would rather stay at home alone, and some would be ignorant too by having all lights turned on as usual. It’s up to you, but please think again; why not support this global event! I believed many Malaysians are supporting this as I see very few people going for movies on Saturday night when is usually flooded with people. These people most probably celebrating Earth Hour somewhere else. That’s good…no need to queue at the GSC stall there…haha…

Earth Hour 2011 is still not over yet, for the west part of the world (America and Europe region). Few hours later, Earth Hour 2011 would be then over for the whole world. Then, we will continue supporting the event by participating for next year in 2012. Anyway, go beyond the hour in loving Earth!

Dinner at Nippon-Tei at KLCC, extra: sightseeing and photo-taking

Yesterday’s night, usual Saturday’s night would be thought as usual night with common dinner at common place nearby. It’s time to change to new place for special dinner yesterday’s night, eventhough there Is no special occasion to celebrate on.

Let’s go try Japanese food, yes…and finally we went to Suria KLCC, the mall below the famous and beautiful world tallest twin buildings, Petronas Twin Towers. There is a chance for me to take night photos of the twin towers too. Yeah…Yeah…

The beautiful flooring mimicking the logo of Suria KLCC representing the cosmos:

The beautiful and fascinating modern chandelier on the main entrance:

KL people usually didn’t go to KLCC, seems very new to that place, hardly been there, so when I was there, I was like a foreign tourist more than a local people, who stays in KL also….haha….wondering around, looking up to buildings around that area, overwhelmed by the night scenes of it.

Can you spot the moon in the middle of the sky?

Dinner came first, we went to Nippon Tei, famous Japanese restaurant in KLCC, and this is the first time I tried Toro Sashimi, raw toro fish’s meat. Not adapted or used to it, because it is the first time trying, but quite nice actually. Wait a minute….5 small slices of it cost RM80…wao….one slice costs RM 16 in one small bite with little wasabi applied.

My set will be the unique mix grill set, which is of beef, tempura (prawn) and with other side dishes like salad, soup, fruit, etc. My set costs RM31. Quite worthy actually because it really taste good and delicious as well as in large amount, which is enough to make you full.

Time to walk to KLCC Park, the large recreational park right behind the twin towers. From here, many people are enjoying views, windy atmosphere and beautiful fountain display. And bravo…it’s time for me to take pictures, from this angle, from that perspective, from that location, from that point of view…had taken quite a lot, especially of the twin towers….

I noticed there are a lot of newly-built modern-style serviced apartments built around the area. One unit must be costing a large sum of money. Only the rich one can afford. Not me, of course….haha…dreamed to have one, since it offers good view towards the twin towers. Many construction of highrises are seen too, around the area, like the Felda Tower (50 storeys), Naza Tower (50 storeys), Troika Tower (50 storeys), Charigali Tower(over 58 storeys) (Lot C of KLCC), Four Seasons Centre (over 70 storeys), etc.

If you give me one full day till night, I can stand or walk around that area just to catch a glimpse of the beautiful skyline of Kuala Lumpur seen from that area. I can sketch on site too, if I’m given the opportunity. I love to see all these things, especially skyscrapers, which are my all-time favourite. Their height and scale overwhelmed me from all directions. Love KL!

KL Tower spotted…

Last picture of the night:

Earth Hour 2010 in Malaysia…

Yesterday is the night when the Earth Hour 2010 was held, many iconic buildings and landmarks participated by turning off their non-essential lights for one hour between 8.30 to 9.30pm. In Malaysia, the famous former world tallest buildings and current world tallest twin buildings, Petronas Twin Towers and the sixth tallest telecommunication tower, KL Tower switched off lights for support to the global event. Everything on both structures turned into darkness except the flashing light which is essential.

There are some other office buildings in KL turned into darkness too. More buildings participated the event this time, and even in world level, the event is becoming more famous and grand in scale. I have managed to check out the turning off lights of KL Tower and Petronas Twin Towers, and even recorded the KLCC ones.

KL skyline before the Earth Hour 2010 begins.

KL skyline during Earth Hour 2010. (see the difference?)

Check out this video by shoeway72 from YouTube showing clear view of Petronas Twin Towers and Maxis Tower (besides) switching off the lights for the global event.

Malaysia will continue support the Earth Hour! We will!

Malaysia’s poster for Earth Hour 2010, contributed by Kaze Lee: (quite nice)

He did it, finally!!!

You might be wondering what I am writing about? Below are all the answers for your questions.

Who is he?

He is Alain Robert.

Still don’t recognize him?

He is nicknamed as French Spiderman.

  n_alainrobert_latest

Why?

Climbing skyscrapers are his interest and he has climbed more than 85 structures ranging from monuments to skyscrapers around the world.

What are the famous structures he has climbed?

Empire State Building, Taipei 101, Willis Tower, Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge, Eiffel Tower, Golden Gate Bridge, Jin Mao Tower, Petronas Twin Towers, etc.

What he did today? (see title)

He had successfully climbed the former world tallest buildings and current world tallest twin buildings, the 452m tall Petronas Twin Towers today, 1st Spetember 2009, the day after Malaysia celebrated its 52nd independence.

petronasalain_latest_feapix

When he did that?

This early morning, to be precise; DAWN. From 6.00am till 7.40am. The time is the time when the guards and the public are not aware of him. As soon as they aware of it, he climbed to the top of the tower.

Which tower he climbed?

Tower 2. He climbed from bottom to top of the 88 storeys structure. He reached to the top pinnacle, standing on it, and fixed a Malaysian flag on top of the building.

300px-Spiderman

Is that dangerous?

Super dangerous. No one would dare to do that except him. No safety belts, he climbed it all with bare hands in the early misty morning of Kuala Lumpur. The exterior is wet, adding difficulty to him, but he did it finally.

Gallery Image

Why do I say ‘finally’?

It is because he had made two previous attempts before this one. Both previous ones failed, in 1997 and 2007. He tried to climb it on the year of completion of the towers (1997) and on the 10th anniversary of the towers (2007), but being stopped by security personnels on the 60th floor.

After this successful attempt, what is the consequence?

He is arrested, and will be charged on criminal tresspass, climbing a building without permission. Anyway, he had the attraction and support from the people looking at him from the ground.

What do I think of him?

Too brave, maybe he wants something challenging to do, scaling towers. He should at least wear safety belts. No one knows what will happen? Don’t risk your life just like that. Think of others. Get permission first. Anyway, he did a good job.

The video from YouTube showing him scaling the tower today:

Did I see it?

No, I didn’t. It’s too early and no one would expect him climbing the tower today. I have just woke up by the time he reached the pinnacle.
