The latest Dr. Strange film is a visual masterpiece!

Right after seeing Doctor Strange appearing in ‘Spiderman: No Way Home’ a few months back, now we are seeing him again in his own solo film. In fact, this latest Marvel film is his second solo film after 2016’s ‘Doctor Strange’ film. Titled ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’, this sequel sees Strange facing against Scarlet Witch while trying to protect a teenager who has the power to travel between multiple universes.

Reviews to this movie were just mildly positive which is actually uncommon to Marvel films that usually do extremely well to critics besides than enjoying success in box office. I’m not in the position to miss any single Marvel films and so I still give it a go on its first weekend of release. Well, after watching it just now, I thought that it was very good! I even think that it is better than ‘No Way Home’ and also the first ‘Doctor Strange’ movie.

I was very engaged throughout the entire film to the point I do not have time to grab the snacks I bought before the movie. The movie is full of actions (a lot of cool fight scenes that will keep you at the edge of your seat) and sees great performances by the main cast especially Benedict Cumberbatch (as Doctor Strange) and Elizabeth Olsen (as Scarlet Witch). I also like the movie for its simple plot which is fitting due to a movie that takes place in multiple worlds/universes. Sometime we just do not need to complicate certain things further to keep general audiences interested.

The main highlight of the movie must be its visual effects. Wow…just wow! I’m speechless by how amazing all the CGIs and visual works seen in this film. A lot of effort must have been put to make this a truly visual masterpiece! It will be beyond shocking if it does not receive at least an Academy Awards’ nomination in visual effects next year. A quick praise too to the famed director, Sam Raimi as well for delivering such beautiful work.

There are several interesting cameos appearing in this film as well but there is nothing much to shout out for especially after the recent over-the-top cameos from ‘Spiderman: No Way Home’. Major spoiler ahead….Zombie Strange is awesome while Wanda (Scarlet Witch)’s power has increased a lot in this film since ‘Avengers: Endgame’. If she had such level of power back during the ‘Endgame’, she could have easily defeated Thanos alone already before he collects all the six Infinity Stones.

Out of 10 points, I rate ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ a total of 8.4. So many films now tend to go on the multiverse idea in their plots. You will soon get bored of this approach. It is quite likely that this latest Marvel film may also gross over a billion US dollar in worldwide box office, a feat that is harder to accomplish in post pandemic era now. The next movie I’m very much excited for is ‘Jurassic World Dominion’ which is scheduled to be released early next month.

Huge crowd reaction in the cinema while watching ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’.

The last time I witnessed crowd cheering and clapping while watching a movie in the cinema was during the screening of ‘Avengers: Endgame’ two years back. Even the crowd reaction at that time was not that huge as compared to what I went through during yesterday’s evening while watching ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ on its first day of release here in Singapore. Must have been a lot of Spidey fans in the theatre with me yesterday….haha. They got too excited.

I’m excited but not to that extent. Okay…warning; spoiler ahead. Do not read further if you have not watch the movie. Would not want to spoil anything to you.

I still felt incredibly great, contented and nostalgic as soon as Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire first appeared in this movie as Spiderman from their respective universe. They have insistently denied their involvement in this film from past interviews to keep it as a secret from their contractual obligation (typical Marvel). So you two are indeed lying…haha!

In fact, the film delivered more of a fan service than a solid action-packed adventure film for the titular hero. But the former alone does adds a lot of point from me who have grown up watching Tobey’s Spiderman, then to Andrew’s version and finally now to Tom’s version. That’s 3 generations of this superhero that brought us back a lot of childhood memories of the past films (the first film with Tobey as Spiderman was almost 2 decades ago).

In this latest film that continues immediately from where the previous film ends, Peter Parker’s identity as Spiderman is revealed to the public and he seeks the help of Doctor Strange to cast a spell that would make all people forget that Peter Parker is Spiderman. However, the spell goes wrong and leads to opening of multiverse, where dangerous foes from the other worlds start to appear.

As mentioned earlier, the story for this film isn’t as solid and the sense of adventure is lacking as compared to the 2 previous Tom Holland’s Spiderman films. But beware, there are a lot more emotional scenes in this one that would make you felt really moved to compensate for that. Seeing the return of villains from previous live-action Spiderman films are fascinating too (Green Goblin, Doc Ock, Electro, Lizard and Sandman) and it is great to see that this film brought some form of closure not only to the 3 Spiderman but also to the villains.

The battle scene at the end is too quick for me. I have 3 Spiderman on the screen and hence I’m expecting triple amount of time for the battle with the villains. But it was all too fast as mentioned earlier. Nevertheless, the battle is still fantastic. Out of 10 points, I rate ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ a total of 8.0. Also as expected, do stay till the end of the film to watch one mid-credit and one post-credit scene (post-credit is more of a movie trailer). This movie is most likely to be the first ever film since the pandemic to gross over US$1 billion dollar worldwide.

Happy Deepavali! Watched Marvel’s ‘Eternals’ today.

First of all, I would like to wish Happy Deepavali to my Indian friends and to everyone else who are celebrating this festival too! May the beauty and festivity of Diwali, the ‘Festival of Light’ fill your home with happiness and joy! Didn’t have the chance to pay a visit to Little India today to bask in the festivity but heard from news that the street is super crowded this week.

I ended up at Vivo City shopping mall today instead for a lovely Thai meal (suddenly had a craving for tom yam today), quick window shopping and most importantly, watched the new Marvel film ‘Eternals’ in the cinema. Today almost felt like a Saturday to me. It has been nearly 3 months since we last had a public holiday here in Singapore (last one was the National Day holiday on 9th August). A very much needed holiday although it would be better if it falls on tomorrow instead (because it’s Friday tomorrow!).

‘Eternals’ is the 26th film in Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and features the ‘Eternals’, an immortal alien race who emerge from hiding after thousands of years to protect Earth from their evil counterparts known as the Deviants. Directed by award-winning director Chloe Zhao, the film starred Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Angelina Jolie, Kumail Nanjiani, Barry Keoghan, Don Lee, etc.

When I first knew that the movie is going to be over 2 hour and 30 minutes long before watching the movie itself, I was a bit worried that the movie is going to be draggy and boring with a lot of dialogues. I couldn’t stand the boredom from watching ‘Nomadland’ which is also directed by Chloe Zhao and had won best picture last year. Fortunately, I didn’t feel that way for this film. There are still some unimportant extended scenes but the beautiful sceneries and visuals, great action scenes and a myriad of good characters save the movie.

The plot has a lot more depth than simply featuring typical superheroes assembled together to fight villains. That’s a good thing but it may be confusing for younger audiences. Although the ‘Eternals’ consists of many members but none of them gets neglected thanks to some solid characters’ development and of course the long runtime. There are also some unexpected hilarious scenes and surprises in the two post-credit scenes to add fun to the film. Out of 10 points, I rate ‘Eternals’ a total of 7.0. Not super spectacular and very different to past Marvel film, ‘Eternals’ may not be for everyone’s taste.

We have the new worldwide box office champion! ‘Avengers: Endgame’ dethroned ‘Avatar’ as the world’s highest grossing film.

After three months in theatres and a re-release, ‘Avengers: Endgame’ finally succeeded on taking the No.1 spot from ‘Avatar’ as the world’s highest grossing film of all time(not adjusted for inflation). By end of today, ‘Avengers: Endgame’ would have grossed around US$ 2.790 billion, which has already exceeded the US$ 2.788 billion that ‘Avatar’ has collected previously.

‘Avatar’ has been on the throne for about 10 years now and finally, another film has the ability to snatch the title away from it. ‘Avatar’ and ‘Titanic’ (both were directed by James Cameron) have been sitting comfortably in the top 2 positions for a long time and now James Cameron has to settle for the 2nd and 3rd place. Well, there is a chance that the sequel to ‘Avatar’ may be able to take back the crown later.

But for now, a huge congratulation to Marvel Studio! After an absolutely insane worldwide debut (grossed over US$1.2 billion in its opening weekend alone – this is already a record), the movie dropped significantly in its box office sales week after week due to heavy front-loaded factor and intense competition from many other famous movies releasing within the same period. Then, the hope of seeing the movie taking down ‘Avatar’ is getting slimmer as day goes by. However, Marvel did a huge trick and offered a re-release and it successfully boosted the box office sales of ‘Endgame’.

And yup, ‘Endgame’ is now officially the world’s highest grossing film of all time (not adjusted for inflation). It looks like the movie will end its run at an impressive figure of US$2.8 billion. So far, the movie has grossed over US$ 850 million in domestic (US and Canada) box office (second highest domestic earner, behind only ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens) and over US$ 1.92 billion in international markets (also the second highest international earner, behind only ‘Avatar’). But when you add the total up, ‘Endgame’ prevailed at the top.

After this impressive box office performance, many may wonder if there is possibility for another movie in the near future to break past the unprecedented US$ 3 billion milestone. The coming sequel for ‘Avatar’ or perhaps a totally new masterpiece just like how the ‘Avatar’ first came out in theatre and stunned the world with its massive box office intake.

‘Avengers: Endgame’ crushes worldwide box office with an insanely massive US$1.2 billion debut.

No one single film in history has opened with more than 1 billion in ticket sales. In fact, the record holder for world’s largest opening weekend goes to ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ at US$640.5 million last year. That record is now obviously shattered by the film’s sequel, ‘Avengers: Endgame’ by almost double.

With a massive US$357.1 million intake from US and Canada, and another US$866.5 million from other territories, ‘Avengers: Endgame’ grossed a total of US$1.223 billion in its opening weekend alone. Countless of films couldn’t even gross near to that figure in their entire run and ‘Endgame’ accomplished that in just its first five days of release.

The movie currently broke almost if not all box office records, including but not limited to largest worldwide opening weekend, largest domestic opening (US and Canada) as well as largest opening in all other countries, fastest film to eclipse US$1 billion, etc. The movie is the 39th film in history to cross the 1-billion mark, is the highest grossing film of 2019, and is currently the 17th highest grossing film of all-time.

Well, the movie is going up to move up the rank real fast. Before the movie’s release, box office analysts were predicting a 250-million opening weekend in the US and Canada, and then later raised the projection to 300-million. It ended up going even further up (over 350 million in domestic debut). Early forecast mentioned the film is going to gross around 800 million at max for its worldwide opening. What we saw now? 1.2 billion debut. That’s a huge gap and it’s a sign that this movie is massively popular and everyone from all parts of the world just wanted to watch it. Who doesn’t? It’s the finale of 21 films that spanned over a decade…and then there’s our beloved huge assembly of superheroes taking down the badass supervillain Thanos and his armies for a final showdown.

So now, how much more further will ‘Endgame’ goes in box office sales? It is no doubt the film is going to dethrone ‘Titanic’ as the second highest grossing film of all time (‘Titanic’ had 2.187 billion). But can it defeat ‘Avatar’ for the prestigious No.1 spot that has not been disturbed for about a decade (‘Avatar’ grossed 2.787 billion)? Looking from the figures now (great statistics), strong word of mouth, huge enthusiasm from audiences in repeat watching, and lack of serious competition till end of May are making it possible to gross over US2.8 billion. Perhaps, it can even be the first ever film to cross the unprecedented 3-billion milestone…

There’s the possibility. And that possibility is really there. We will see how it performs in the second and following weekend to see how big is the drop per week. For now, it is a sure thing that ‘Endgame’ will be the 5th film to cross 2-billion mark. It can even achieve that by just end of this week of early next week. It’s certainly going to be the fastest film to reach 2-billion too. Now, all that is insane. I knew the support and love for this movie is strong but like many others, I didn’t expect the scale to be this huge.

‘Avengers: Endgame’ concludes this huge MCU saga in a mind-blowing way!

Ever since the release of ‘Iron Man’ in 2008, the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is created. Back then, no one expect that MCU would come to this far or would come to this big. Now in April 2019, that one huge story arc is finally coming to an end after 21 superhero films with the release of ‘Avengers: Endgame’.

After an explosive cliffhanger on last year’s ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ whereby Thanos had succeeded in wiping out half of the universe’s population and left the remaining Avengers team in huge sense of loss and defeat, fans across the world has been eagerly anticipating for this ‘Endgame’ to see how things get corrected. If you haven’t watched the movie, please stop from reading further as there are a lot of spoilers ahead for my movie review here.

In ‘Endgame’, some 5 years after the ‘turning-into-dust’ event, Scott Lang (Ant-man) discovered that entering the quantum realm allows for time travel and Steve Rogers (Captain America) agrees for a plan to get to the past to collect all the 6 infinity stones before Thanos did to undo the apocalypse and to bring back those that perished from Thanos’ snap alive in present. The time travel mechanism is further reinforced by Tony Stark (Iron-man) and Bruce Banner (Hulk). The remaining Avengers were then reunited and tasked to separate time zones (Romanoff (Black Widow) sacrificed herself to obtain the Soul stone in the process). They succeeded, but Thanos and his armies are brought to the present. A final battle ensues and Iron Man mortally wounded himself after using the 6-stones to disintegrate Thanos and his armies. Following Iron Man’s funeral, Thor joins Guardians of the Galaxy, and Captain America returns the infinity stones and Mjolnir (Thor’s hammer) back to their original places in time. He then remains in the past to live out the rest of his life with Peggy Carter. Returning to the present, he passes his shield to Sam Wilson (Falcon).

This movie is 3-hours long and I never felt bored for a single time. That is surprising. Although there is quite a lot of mere talking scenes in most parts of the film, but I am very engaged. Why? Because those scenes are still critical (despite lacking actions) to connect us to the characters that we first saw and loved from as early as 2008 and to get us to feel what it’s like to be on their situation. Kids may not enjoy this part but us as Marvel fans that has been following all the previous MCU films are immersed into it. Marvel also never sways away from giving us laughter from some hilarious interactions between the Avengers throughout the movie. Things then took huge turn with dramatic battle particularly at the end that got me super thrilled and excited. The scenes where Captain America successfully wielding the Mjolnir and fights Thanos, where Doctor Strange opened portals to bring in all Avengers and allies to face off Thanos and his armies and where Captain Marvel arrives and crushes through Thanos’ ship are epic!

I wouldn’t mind if the movie is even much longer than the current 3-hour runtime, hoping for a longer battle in the end. Anyway, the way it is now is already way brilliant. Things also get very emotional with the death of Black Widow and Iron Man. Before watching the movie, I already knew the plot. I assumed that I won’t get too emotional through the movie since I already knew who will die. However, I was wrong. It gets really sad to watch them die after all the things they have done to save the world.

Assembling this huge number of actors to create this finale is no easy task. The directors (Russo brothers) have delivered an epic conclusion to this huge MCU journey. The movie did whatever it takes to give us a thrilling, satisfying and heartfelt ending that we will remember for a long time. Out of 10 points, I rate ‘Avengers: Endgame’ a total of 8.7. And in this movie, we got to see perhaps Stan Lee’s final cameo appearance. By the way, there is no post-credit scene for ‘Endgame’ as this is already the finale of the story. Hence, there is no need to wait till the very end of the rolling credits unless you want to just hear an audio that implies Iron Man forging his suit in his first film.

It’s really emotional to see this MCU journey concluding after a long 11 years and 22 films in total. We still have to move on and we will see how MCU progresses with the upcoming ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ and future Phase 4 films. Thank you Stan Lee, thank you Marvel, thank you to all the superheroes and the non-superheroes too, thank you Cap, and thank you Iron Man for this amazing entertainment for the past 11 years. Love you 3000!

This movie is going to be very massive in worldwide box office! I’m expecting it to surpass ‘Titanic’ in final grossing but still would not be able to take down the No.1 spot from ‘Avatar’ for the title of world’s highest grossing film (unadjusted for inflation). ‘Endgame’ crossing 1-billion mark is as easy as snapping a finger. Crossing 2-billion is also easy since its predecessor (Infinity War) was able to accomplish it too. The question is how far do you think it will go after the 2-billion milestone? 3-billion? The first in history to cross 3-billion? There is a chance but quite minimal at the moment. But one thing for sure now is that ‘Endgame’ is certain to score largest opening weekend ever.

It is endgame!

Last Friday’s evening got everyone excited because the first trailer for the upcoming Avengers 4 is finally released. Everyone already cannot wait for this one after the Avengers 3 (Infinity War) early this year. Everyone wanted to see where it all leads to after half of the world population turned into dust at the end of the Infinity War after Thanos succeeded on his plan after securing all the 6 infinity stones for the powerful infinity gauntlet.

Not much detail has been revealed earlier on for this upcoming Avengers 4 including its title although it is just a year apart from Infinity War. Finally, the first revelation came last evening with the official first trailer and the announcement of the movie’s title in the trailer itself. It’s Avengers: Endgame. No more speculation, guessing and rumors. It’s endgame. And after missing in the Infinity War, Hawkeye and Ant-man will return to Endgame to everyone’s excitement!

Before the release of Avengers: Endgame, there will be another Marvel movie out. It’s Captain Marvel starring Brie Larson as the titular role and it will be out on March 2019, a month before Avengers: Endgame. I have watched its two trailers and I have to say that I’m not impressed. I think Brie Larson doesn’t fit into being a superhero. I just couldn’t feel any intensity from its two trailers so far. Well, I’m still not going to miss it (not missing a single MCU movies in all the phases).

Can’t wait that long for a superhero movie? No worry. There has been a lot of superhero films in recent years and moviegoers appear to be still not feeling tired of movies of this genre. Without Marvel, we still have DC. And it’s upcoming Aquaman is going to be released next week! Yes, next week! I also can’t wait for this one. The trailer looks promising and I have absolute faith on James Wan who is the director (he directed The Conjuring, first two Saw films, Fast and Furious 7, etc). Not many DC films do well to the critics except Wonder Woman and I think Aquaman will be fabulous and is going to revive the less stellar DC cinematic universe.

It is a huge challenge for DC film to cross US$ 1 billion in worldwide box office but it is a very easy task for Marvel films. Sorry DC fans, but it is a fact. (I’m neutral on both side and I’m more swayed towards Marvel since they released more films so far). This year’s Black Panther grossed US$1.346 billion while Avengers: Infinity War gained a whopping US$2.047 billion (even get past 2-billion milestone). Black Panther is even nominated for Golden Globes 2019 for best motion picture – drama (though I don’t see any chance of it winning and I actually don’t enjoy Black Panther much and I think it is overrated).

R.I.P. Stan Lee, the Marvel Comics legend.

I was shocked to hear the news of Stan Lee’s death this morning. His death yesterday had left the Marvel Comics fans across the world and artistes who have played Marvel characters in all the recent popular Marvel superhero films in grief. His passing away was met with a wave of tributes, including Marvel stars and friends Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan, Tom Holland, Mark Ruffalo, Jennifer Lawrence, Ryan Reynolds, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and many more.

Stan Lee, born on December 28, 1922 was an American comic book writer, editor, producer, and publisher. He was the Editor-in-Chief of Marvel Comics, and later its publisher and chairman, leading its expansion from a small division of a publishing house to a large multimedia corporation. In collaboration with several artists—particularly Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko—he co-created fictional characters including Spider-Man, the Hulk, Doctor Strange, the Fantastic Four, Daredevil, Black Panther, the X-Men, and—with his brother, co-writer Larry Lieber—the characters Ant-Man, Iron Man, and Thor. Besides that, he pioneered a more complex approach to writing superheroes comics in the 1960s and revolutionized them by introducing superheroes designed to appeal to older readers than the predominantly child audiences of the medium.

Following his retirement from Marvel, he remained a public figurehead for the company, and frequently made cameo appearances in movies based on Marvel characters. Meanwhile, he continued independent creative ventures into his 90s until his death. He died due to pneumonia yesterday (November 12, 2018) at the age of 95.

I always enjoyed all his interesting cameo appearances in almost all of the Marvel films. He would appear out of sudden in a scene for just a few seconds that would certainly tickle the excitement of Marvel fans. We would see his cameo for Marvel films next year too such as the much anticipated Avengers 4 (as he had already filmed them this year), but after that, we would no longer be able to look out for his cameo anymore. That’s sad. The person who co-created some of our most favourite fictional superheroes had left us and he will be forever remembered for being one of the legends behind Marvel, an icon. Rest in peace, Stan Lee.

A day in two malls and at Sentosa Island.

Although I’m still feeling slightly unwell today, but I insist on heading out to explore the city and seeks some entertainment in this weekend. Things go according to plan as me and my friend went to the Sentosa Island. This is the first time he is visiting the island while this is my third time doing so. The area around the Resorts World Sentosa still looks the same with all the fee-charging attractions. As I said earlier, I went there for the third time already and I still have not had the opportunity to enter into the Universal Studios.

We were just looking around for some sights and enjoy the happening atmosphere with a lot of tourists over there. We also went into the casino not to play, but to enjoy the comfy air-conditioning as the weather outside today is pretty hot. We spent nothing there except for the monorail fees (4 dollar) and a lunch at the ‘Malaysian Food Street’. Walking outdoor for over 10 minutes is already a bit unbearable with that scorching heat this afternoon and we decided to head back to the Vivo City shopping mall. The mall is the point for people who are taking public transport to travel to the island and it is also one of the largest malls in Singapore.

After Vivo City, we went to City Square Mall to catch a movie. Good seats are all taken up at Vivo City’s cinema and we have no choice but to change mall. We watched ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’. I enjoyed the film very much and I highly recommend it especially to the Marvel fans. It is very entertaining and I have an enjoyable time through the whole movie. In this movie, Scott Lang (Ant-Man) works together with Hope (Wasp) and her father Hank Pym to retrieve her mother Janet from the quantum realm.

The movie focuses mostly on turning small things to big things or vice versa and those scenes are brilliantly executed to deliver a lot of fun and thrills to the audiences. Ample of hilarious scenes made this movie experience very enjoyable. Those funny scenes felt very natural unlike those from ‘Deadpool 2’ that felt forced and awkward at some point. ‘Deadpool 2’ is the Marvel movie that comes right before this although it has no link to the storyline of Ant-Man or Avengers.

There are also some quick yet warm family and romantic moments to keep the whole atmosphere light and cheerful in ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’. The actions are good and the cast are fantastic. Do stay until the end for one mid-credit scene and one post-credit scene. The mid-credit scene is particularly crucial as it ties back to the event from the ‘Avengers: Infinity War’. I rate ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp’ a total of 8.5. A highly enjoyable and fun movie. With so many superhero movies released in the past already, Marvel is still able to produce some good works these days.

‘Avengers: Infinity War’ is awesome!

‘Avengers: Infinity War’ is by far my most anticipated movie of the year and I’m so excited that its release has finally arrived. I have watched all the previous 18 MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) films that began 10 years ago with ‘Iron Man’. I’m thrilled and impressed by how far Marvel has gone to in the development of their films with many of them being exceptionally well executed, and them having all the stories culminate into this third Avengers movie.

I’m also amazed by the creative marketing from my country (Malaysia) in promoting this ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ such as installing a lit Avengers logo on the top of the Telekom Tower (Stark or Avengers Tower as shown in the first Avengers movie resembles a lot like the Telekom Tower) and having large visual projection of the film’s advertising on the facade of Suria KLCC mall which is directly at the base of the Petronas Twin Towers.

As for the movie itself, it is awesome! Marvel has accomplished it again by delivering to us an amazing movie of which almost all previously appeared Marvel superheroes assembled again to take on the villain, Thanos who finally collect the Infinity Stones by himself to power up the Infinity Gauntlet and be the most powerful being in the universe. It’s a bit sad of not seeing Hawkeye and Ant-man joining the huge group of superheroes here (I felt a bit incomplete). Anyway, the movie still has all the charm from the multiple exciting battle scenes, some humorous moments and interesting emphasis on the character development of Thanos. He is not just a bad guy who aim to wipe out half the universe and be evil for no purpose. There seems to be reasoning on his part (although I couldn’t agree on his stand) and I praise Marvel for adding this story to refine this particular character.

This makes no time for the superheroes to shine on their own (most of them only has very few lines in the movie), That is reasonable due to the huge number of superheroes involved while most of them already had their arc explained in their past individual films. The whole movie is quite straightforward except the very end which will puzzle the audiences especially those who are not a strong Marvel comic fans. I only understand some of the ending theories as explained by some people out there on the internet. Spoiler ahead; I don’t think all those who are dusted after Thanos snapped his finger from his Infinity Gauntlet complete with all the six Infinity Stones will just died like that. I believe they or some of them may appear again (maybe resurrected?) in the next Avengers movie scheduled next year. And where has Thanos went to in the end? I don’t quite get that. I think I need to research a bit more on the details of the ending. It’s an open conclusion as expected because Marvel will not just end here as there are so much more future plans ahead for MCU.

The battle scenes are fantastic and explosive till I wouldn’t even want to blink for once during those scenes. Besides that, I can really feel the intensity especially when Thanos appears with those amazing score and the CGI of Thanos’ appearance properly worked on. (it’s so cool watching the scene when Thanos used his gauntlet to pull and throw a planet onto the superheroes…and also many other scenes!) It’s actually very hard to make a movie not only about one superhero but to gather a lot of them into a single production with a great villain and plot. Out of 10 points, I rate ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ a total of 8.0. If you haven’t watch it and plan to do so, please stay till the end of the credits for a post-credit scene (typical for Marvel movies).

By the way, this movie is going to make a lot of money in worldwide box office. There is no doubt it will be the second movie of the year to gross over US$ 1 billion after ‘Black Panther’ (currently has US$ 1.3 billion in box office). I’m thinking that this ‘Infinity War’ will hit US$1.8 billion in the end.
