70th Golden Globe Awards’ official result

For this Golden Globe Awards which honours both films and series, I will only pay attention to the categories that fall under films or better known as motion pictures. That is because I didn’t watch any of US television series every year. I’m still loyal to Hong Kong’s Cantonese dramas by TVB eventhough their quality of production is getting worse. This awards show (second biggest motion pictures awards presentation of Hollywood, only behind Oscars) concluded yesterday and saw the presence of many stars; Jennifer Lopez, Adele, Megan Fox, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Swift, Christian Bale, Robert Downey Jr., Julia Roberts, Jessica Alba, etc.

This awards presentation which came earlier than the much prestigious Oscars (in February) always serves as an early hint to upcoming Academy Awards. The 85th Academy Awards or commonly known as Oscars will be held in Februart 24th, 2013. That’s more than a month from now and its nomination list had just been released few days ago if I’m not mistaken. Anyway, this Golden Globe Awards still receive much attention, particularly also from its red carpet where stars were dressed awesomely and walked glamorously to the venue of the awards ceremony. That is also the time of opportunity for fashion critics to judge on the artists’ clothings on that day.

Honestly, out of all the nominated films, I have only watched ‘Life of Pi’, ‘Skyfall’, ‘The Hunger Games’, ‘Brave’ and ‘Hotel Transylvania’ on which the latter two are animated movies. For many others of which I have not watched, I see it quite reasonable as those major nominated films are not promoted in Malaysia’s market and that those movies are not of my type. Without wasting any more time, here it is the official winning list of the awards presentation.. For some categories, I had some of my comments below too. If you wish to look for the full nomination list, sorry, it’s not here, but you can find it easy anywhere throughout the internet.
