Second day of the new semester..Headache…

It is now already the second day of beginning of new semester (Semester 1) in Bachelor of Applied Science in Architecture…

Thought that the first week would be ‘free and easy’ week as all the first lesson of each module will only introduce the module outline…

but then, today as the second day..two modules already have their assignments briefed on us…

the assignments are so tough and challenging..even though it is just Assignment 1…the hardest and most time-consuming one is the ‘The Wonder Wall’ Project under Building Technology 101 module…

in the project, we need to work in group and build out a length of wall with openings based on our creativity and the understanding of solid construction…this project needs a lot of time….and then we need to draw out first on scale before doing this continuously for at least 8 hours…and present it to the whole world in the fourth week..haha…

then, in the Architectural Design 101, we are told to work with senior students in group to design a flying device that can carry an egg..the project is called as ‘Flying Egg’…funny right? We need to apply the aerodynamic system as well creativity on this..this one need to submit and tested by this Friday…so fast!and this assignment does not carry any marks to the module…

headache…stress…thinking of all the stuff and procedures regarding these two first assignments briefed….architectural life ahead is super hard! Have to stay on it too! No give up! Must get used to it!
